the names of the deceased. it allows them to register to vote twice in two different states. the group is demanding the state board of elections investigate. >> and we don't believe you can have free and fair elects if the information is incorrect. >> the state elects officials say there is no evidence of fraud. and in a few hours, president obama and mitt romney will face off for the first presidential debate. stage is set, spotlight on denver tonight. the new polls indicate that mitt romney may need to sway undecided voters during the debate. a cnn poll averaged 7 recent surveys and overall, president obama had 49 to 45%. well, tonight's debate, will it make a difference among the voters? craig bosswell is live in denver with more now. craig. >> reporter: good evening to you. three hours and counting until the main event here. the first presidential debate of the 2012 campaign. the first question will go to

president obama and that is followed by two-minute answers on the topic and the 15 minutes and there will be a discussion about that topic. this debate is divided up into three 15-minute segments. the economy, roll on government and leadership style. the pressure is certainly on, on mitt romney to perform and is a must-win situation. on the flip side of that for presume a it's a must not lose situation as well and here we are a month away from the election and the stakes are high here tonight, even though both campaigns tend to downplay the expectations. make no mistake, the pressure is on, brian. >> are you getting a sense from puppedits that mitt romney has the experience and that perhaps president obama has a stronger hold on some of the national- international topics because he deals with it every day? >> reporter: right, who the international topic comes into play is yet to be seen on

like what happened here at paul's liquor on wisconsin avenue. >> when we noticed it was starting to rain, we pulled the painting in and because someone put that much workbo it, you want to portrait it. >> reporter: with that rain gone, the portrait was back. a bicyclist passing by spun around and studied it and eventually decided to take it. she doesn't mind. >> i hope it's the person i painted. even if it's somebody else who is opening their eyes and noticing the people around them and recognizing neighbors, i think that is wonderful, too and makes me happy. >> reporter: letting go, accepting lifelike this project, as is. in washington, beth parker, fox 5 news. a japanese mother turns her sleeping child into art. while her baby's sleeping, she uses clothes, vegetables, other objects to turn her sleepinged to will -- toddler into photographic art. it was for fun and then became a hit. so much so, she was able to get a book deal with amazon.

early morning, showers will be at d.c. from the north and west and i will show where you that is coming from and speaking of showers, we have some in the weekend forecast and there is big changes coming and chilly by sunday morning and we're talking about a 20 degrees drop in temperatures and in the space of three, four gays. 82 at reagan national; dulles, 81; bwi thurgood marshal 81 and that is still mild now with the humidity, 82 degrees in fredericksburg and look up to the north and to binghampton, 71 degrees and raleigh coming in at 81 and not a lot of cold air in the east. we do have, though, some great surplus of cloud cover and light sprinkle here and there. look to the south and with this touch of moisture coming up, straight from the south, we believe that in is going to get pulled into the area tomorrow
